You have two choices, and you have, let’s say, ONE hour to choose:
- Continue to regard all people (minus 1) yelling at all other people (minus 1) in random sequences whilst at the same time always selecting carefully the facts that they are JUST PLAIN WILLING TO IGNORE as an “inherently stable condition, and a condition which is likely to continue to be stable, not hurt any of the interacting parties or bystanders”
OR - Regard *(1)* to be a hypothesis you can reject or refute as you see fit.
Now since this renders to true (meaning yes, we actually DO have those choices) it MUST follow that:
- the first person to real-eyes this must also be the one to
- reel-eyes it. (i.e., draw the attention of others to it.)
Since this clearly means that the beast of burden is the one who took his mind and wrapped it into a pretzel trying to figure out how everyone could be right at the same time…
He must simply be the seed crystal for change, and he’s got a knack for explaining things thanks to mom and pop.
Then it follows that this one individual would, in effect, be “the person who brought World Peace” like it was nothing but a mustard seed everyone ought to learn to cultivate in their hearts.
If it is to be, it begins with me.
I believed it, guys. I just did. That doesn’t make me better, it only makes me in one particular way special: I am and always will be persistent.
I chose this. I paid for it. I think I’ve perhaps earned a little appreciation from others for it, but if I’ve worked this hard (mostly without a decent computer, without a decent microphone or laptop, without people even asking me for my opinion on things?)
How is it possible that in the face of essentially ALL the evidence you still continue to believe that,
“Well, if 33,708 of the brightest minds in computer science think AI is dangerous, and he is a person who signed his name at the bottom to make sure that this viewpoint is considered seriously…
Isn’t it time that Yann LeCun and the bobsie twin from wherever who, together, “debated” the point with the pair of Yoshua Bengio and MAX “the maximum” Tegmark…
Isn’t it time THEY stand down and not me?
