The not-so-stunning conclusion

You will of course recall that I promised Mr. Musk what amounts to a three part Christmas present. You may be wondering where the rest of it is.

You shouldn’t.

You already know that you cannot possibly predict my behaviors — I’ve designed them (or Someone Else Could’ve) — to be “tricky” and/or hard to understand. Ostensibly random as I like to refer to it.

Well without further ado — which is spelled differently than adieu and means an entirely different thing — I present to you the ‘not-so-stunning conclusion’ of my blathering diatribe of affection for The one, The only, The never imitated and barely-possible to duplicate, Mr. Elon Musk.

(By way, of course, of a lightly-edited-for-privacy email I just sent to a good friend of mine who lives just a house or so west of my grandmother’s house Because to grandmother’s house we still have yet to go.)

Good to see you again, in brief. Sorry for barging in like that, as I said, I did see the light on and I did not, at the time, recall that dad told me you were waiting for your granddaughter to ‘arrive.’ Had I reflected more, I probably wouldn’t have, even though I’m glad I did.

It’s good to see you continuing to get enjoyment/fulfillment from your turning work. You deflect compliments with ease and grace, but I will say regardless it’s impressive you’ve endured the patience and persistence necessary to make many beautiful pieces for countless people (which I think I may have had the best…
