I don’t know why people so quickly evaluate as “crazy” a person like me.

I mean, perhaps I know but I don’t really understand how the term “crazy” is automatically equated with either scary or uninteresting or not worthwhile or…well, “bad.”

Why is crazy equivalent to bad, again?

Well, because there’s no point. Well, at least no obvious point.

And that means?

Well, it means I know what I’m after and I know what I’m NOT after and…well…crazy is just not it.

Ok, ok. I get it. You figured life out already. I simply haven’t. Perhaps I’m looking for some direction from you (I am, no sarcasm, seriously.)

If you really want to know what I think the problem is, here you go — and I will do my best to keep it short:

  1. I believe sarcasm has little or no value in the aggregate sense. I think it contributes a false sort of lubrication to the gears of communication. If you can’t be 100% honest when you’re communicating something to someone — if you think it clever to make your point in reverse in the fashion of ridiculing someone in an upside-down way…well, still I think that’s a lie. Perhaps a sin equivalent to stealing a $0.01 pencil.
  2. I think Don Darling would say that #1 could be true.
  3. I think if we all cared 1% more for others than we care for ourselves — not 10%, not 50%, and god forbid not 100% — to make ourselves the latest martyr for a cause of some kind — I think it…
