Not sure what episode this is, I’m not doing the numeric version control on this thing, if you’d like to you can be my guest. i.e., the job is not a paid position.
So I heard this argument the other day, and…well, it struck even ME as unbelievable.
Now that isn’t a ‘brag’ of some kind. I know people like to carry themselves in the fashion of, “you’ll never surprise me, because *I* have ‘seen it all’” and I also know that they do that because, vaguely, they know it must somehow be important to be ‘cool’ (after all, everyone wants to be cool, so it somehow must be important because everyone wants it…which, actually, they don’t, because I know that I personally have no need to be cool and that exception proves that there is no such rule.)
It has many times been told me that I should “keep my cool” or “have some patience” or “chill out” or “relax”…so many times that when they say the last of those things I have taken to indicating to them that I actually have one of those and that I’m not afraid to use it.
Which, because, at this point, you really sincerely don’t get it, I will explain:
When they SAY what I believe they mean to be the word “relax” — I mean, they actually say that particular actual word — and I’m waxing philosophical about how when I say a word they basically do whatever the fuck they feel like with that word, i.e., they bizarre-ify the definition so that what I’m saying goes from making PERFECT sense to making no sense whatsoever and in that “waxing philosophical”…
