He wants to know, because, like, the people who run Medium.com are just as errantly convinced about their own brilliance and ability to “spot a diamond in the rough” as the hardly unbiased Editors-in-Chief of The New York Times, The Washington Post, or (god forbid) even Business Insider. They are wannabe world activists who wouldn’t be able to spot a suitably democratic means to “assign some freedom of the pulpit” to a person who has something genuinely original to say if that “person” happened to be King Kong and he “notified” them of it by dropping it like a highly protobiotic gorilla pellet straight into their ear from outerspace via a homing beacon attached to their inner eardrum for that exclusive purpose.
You *do* realize that your inability to catch laser beams might well be the inability that renders life on this planet impossible in the semi-near future, right, you just out of college chuckleheads with a fat graduation loan-present and the keys to a nice new Jaguar V-8, right?
